This is me. Being Sick.

The phrase 'good guys finish last' summarizes how this weekend went. But I'm always telling myself and others, "Do not sink to their level, cause this is what differentiates you from them. You'll have something that they dont. Class."

Happenings over the weekend have definitely spurred me to write. I watched first handedly, how far people were willing to push the boundaries, unfairly, unethically,  and not to mention unholy to keep grasp onto control and power. and to watch them hurt the people that you cared about, it not only broke my heart, it angers me! We have always been aware at how dirty politics can be, but you can never really understand how corrupt the whole system is until it affects you personally. and it just makes you wonder, if this already happens in a small scale community organization, what more when it involves the big guns, like opposing governing bodies?

Spreading malicious rumors and lies, personal attacks and unfair conduct was just the tip of the iceberg. And for those whose judgement have been clouded by all the bull-- thats going around, know this: it isnt about the position or just the one person. Its about something bigger than that. and if you had let him finish his speech, maybe you would have known better.

For me, its too much heartache to bear just to watch, let alone be involved in it directly. and if it were up to me, I would like to be able to tell my loved one(s) to just quit while they're ahead. Before they get in too deep, but in essence I know how much they love doing what they do, and how pure their intentions really are. and for me to deprive the world of people like them...would just be wrong.

So I let them choose. and I will be there behind them, all the way as long as they still need me to. but however much they stress that they're ok, it wont stop me from worrying. I just pray that The big guy upstairs looks over you and protects you in the ways that I cant.

On a merrier note. Seeing You, is something I hope I'll never get tired of.
In the wise words of Ellen:
Be kind to one another. Bye, bye
